More opportunities for migration to Australia’s Northern Territory

Decorative

The Northern Territory (NT) welcomes anyone looking for new opportunities and a vibrant community to call home.

Right now, the NT Government is looking for people who want space to move, and room to grow in a broad range of skilled work. We can nominate overseas skilled workers for 5-year visas via the General Skilled Migration program, which sets a pathway to permanent residency after living in the NT for at least 3 years.

The NT is open, and we have jobs for everyone - and we’ve just made it even easier to move here from overseas, to work and live in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Your opportunities to make the move to the top

We are expanding the occupation list

We need the skills you have. The NT has recently expanded our skilled migration program - and now it’s open to even more people. We’ve added almost 200 different occupations to the NT Offshore Migration Occupations List - almost double what it used to be - to open the door and welcome skilled workers into our world.

We are reducing the work experience requirements from 3 years to one

It’s the best time to kick start your career to the top - for most occupations, you can qualify for a skilled visa nomination with just one year of work experience in your field - allowing you to grow and develop your skills and career with us, here in the NT.

We are providing more opportunities to reunite with family members

And the best bit? Under the newly expanded NT Family Support Stream, if you have a family member in the NT who is an Australian Citizen, permanent resident, or hold certain temporary visas (such as regional provisional subclass 491, 489, 494), you can qualify for nomination with their support, even if your occupation is not on the NT Offshore Migration Occupations List.

If you’re a skilled migrant looking for an opportunity - this is it. We have an abundance of them. It’s time to make your move to the Top - to Australia’s Northern Territory.
